The Eagle Pass Independent School District Tax Ratification Election came to a close on Saturday with the majority of local voters electing to approve the slight increase.

Only 1,111 people have exercised their right as U.S. citizens by voting in the Eagle Pass Independent School District Tax Ratification Election (TRE) during the early voting period. Early voting for this proposed tax

The Independent Citizen’s Committee and EPISD School Board are asking voters to consider the Tax Ratification Election at the local elections on May 27, 2017 to receive over $5.7 million dollars in state revenue to be used for the enhancement of our school district.
